Absolutely. That said, these problems can be successfully mitigated with high nutrient diet and commitment to physical therapy exercises 5 days per week. I corrected a 27 degree lumbar scoliosis to 5 degrees which returned good space between my bulging discs, regained disc height and reversed bulges in 2 discs in my upper thoracic. Not perfect, the neck is still a wreck but i do have full range of motion with minimal pain despite the advanced severe ddd and herniations with multiple stenosis (9 nerves) there. A diagnosis is not a death sentence if you're willing and able to devote the equivalent time and effort of a full time job to it. πŸ˜ŒπŸ™
