I Was Diagnosed With Ankylosing Spondylitis About 20 Years Ago, My Question Is, How Do People Manage MRI/CT Scans ? I'm Struggling..
My spine is now curved and I have had a frame built the bathroom of my spine due to infection, I've also recently had spinal surgery for spinal stenosis and lost the use of my legs, so scans and some x-rays are near impossible and really painful so any advice or tips would be really appreciated.
really sorry to hear about the pain you are having with this. while I can't get MRIs anymore due to an implanted neurostimulator, lying down at all is very painful for me, let alone for a long procedure. if i do have to have scans or procedures done, i try to schedule it for after i've taken meds so i have the most benefit from pain relief measures. it certainly doesnt stop the pain, but is about the best way for me to get through it. I hope you are able to find something that helps you, or your medical team can find a working solution for your challenges
