I have been diagnosed with Lyme disease, and my physician prescribed Colchicine and stated it is highly recommended for gout. I honestly have a hard time differentiating. I've had major health issues for so long, between the meds I've taken for the last quarter century, as well as the injuries I've sustained, I'm amazed I can still function at all!

I have to be careful consuming blue cheese . So I eat one small chuck every few days. I haven’t noticed any problems with shrimp but will be careful to observe any changes.

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member😁 thank you very much for the information! I did some research on Lyme disease, and I am taking an herbal supplement that actually helps counter the Lyme and helps to strengthen my immune system. After reading about Colchicine in the pdr, I don't want to take it at all! I'm keeping away from shellfish! Last 2 times I've had shrimp, my knee has swollen
