Hello! My asthma symptoms have actually decreased since taking the humira. I am not using my inhaler as much. I have been in humira 11weeks. The humira has also helped with stiffness in my lower back. Hope this helps.

I have very bad asthma. Always have. My allergist prescribed fasenra which has made a world of difference to me overall. Like night and day. Less asthma attacks and exacerbations, less sinus infections, etc. even less hospitalizations, but that's only my story.

Biologics in general all come with a warning of increased susceptibility to bronchial/upper respiratory infections. Thats because they tend to reduce production of neurrophils, white blood cells necessary to fight such infections. I had to stop biologics because i went neutropenic and had 2 acute bouts of bronchitis and sinusitis. I started a turmeric and andrographolide supplement instead to combat inflammation and strengthen my bronchial health.

Hello. I have had asthma since I was 5 years old. I was diagnosed with AS this year at 49. My asthma symptoms have increased since starting biologics . I have also developed a cough and phantom smell of things burning. I started biologics 4 weeks ago. My doctor wants to review things in 10 weeks.
