Has Anyone Had Severe Mood Changes Or Sensitivity With Methotrexate?
Depression is well controlled with anti-depressants and mood stabilizers until I started meds.

I stopped Methotrexate in January due to the impact on kidney’s and liver function.
I really felt myself again once I stopped. I was very tearful for 24-48 hours after the injection and it definitely had an impact on my mental health/energy levels.
Patients react differently to medications, but methotrexate definitely did not suit me!

From my experience, I would definitely keep an eye on your bloods and check in with your GP/PCP.

Methotrexate, used for treating spondylitis, has a range of side effects. Common side effects include:
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Loss of appetite
- Temporary hair loss

So What Can We Do To Reduce Flare Ups During Our Period? Extra Estrogen? I Take Anti Inflammatorys Already.
