@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. I always asked the google god (little g). I just write a question in the google search box. “How much ibuprofen is safe to take in 24 hours.” Now that’s 24 hours not a regular daylight hours day and keep the hour doses spread out. But also depends on our well our livers and kidneys work. If you have liver or kidney disease, blood pressure issues then you should ask your primary doctor. Also make sure your not on meds that interfere. There are drug identification websites that answer those questions.
Thank you !
Thank you very much. 😃
I’ve been taking ibuprofen 800 2 to 3 times a day for 15 years. I do get some stomach issues but not yet severe. My main concern is damage to organs but except for a kidney stone I recently suffered through, everything is functioning. I’m 75 and was diagnosed in my late 20s.
Thank you Rex.I was an RN for 30 years before I retired 7 years ago, and I had read high doses of ibuprofen are ok. I appreciate your reply. I'll see me PCPhysician soon. My AS came out of the blue. Onward we go ! Thanks again, Rick Sund
