I really don’t want to cook. It has to be super simple. I was getting Chinese takeout and mixing one cup of stir fry to extra frozen veggies. Just using the takeout as a flavor base. Lost weight but sick of it now, Not that great a selection in frozen veggies in Mississippi. The flavor profile is weak after adding in more veggies so doesn’t taste as good, I still have an appetite but nothing in the idea of food appeals to me. Not sure what to do next, I don’t want to do lots of fresh food prep… read more

BarbieLux,
I've maintained my current weight since 2017. While I worked at the casino, I went from 168 up to 200 lbs. I felt horrible.
If I can recommend something that I swear by.
I start my mornings drinking a fresh squeezed lemon and lime in a 16 ounce glass of water. I do add sweetener. I do not drink soda or any of the drinks on the market. I primarily drink water, tea, cranberry juice, and milk. That is truly about all that I drink.
I also do Intermittent Fasting. You seem to enjoy research. Look into the Intermittent Fasting. It works amazingly well.
Cutting back on the sugary snacks and sweet drinks will produce some incredible results. It does take a bit of work and planning though. If you really want it, it will happen

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. I have to chew too to feel like I ate something. Can’t have fruit carbs. I have to have real food, I got sick a while back using protein powder. That is when I fell apart for some reason, I am just absolutely sick of every kind of food I can think of, My diet is so restricted that there isn’t much I can have, no carbs, no saturated fat, no dairy.

That sounds delicious but I need to chew. My brain thinks I'm still hungry if I don't. (Sometimes even when I do! 😊) What else do you have in that bag of tricks of yours?
Love you ladies 💞

Mediterranean is easy to cook. I have been finding a lot of simple recipes on Instagram. Recently I started making Naan pizza, naan flatbreads add sauce and favorite toppings bake at 350 until cheese melts.

I’ve been eating grilled chicken for years. Need something else. I google til I’m purple and most of it is keto with lots of dairy and cheese in recipes or boring plain chicken. One of my favorites is baked chicken in Italian gravy. But I thought with all y’all being decrepit out there in pain that y’all had some great shortcut recipes by now. I know y’all are not eating grilled chicken every night. I know y’all don’t cook all the time. Our bodies won’t let us all the time. It was easier when lived a block from a nice store in Dallas where the selection was so good that some vegetable in the produce section would call my name. But gone are the days of exotic fresh produce from around the world in Deep South Mississippi. Maybe just for tomorrow I’ll do the tomato gravy. But It’s not on a diet list per se. And I sho nuff can’t have no cat head biscuits with it, or mashed potatoes, or pasta or garlic bread. 😜
