It is common, especially if you dont have strong core and stabilizing muscles. A physical therapist can help immensely. Not exercising regularly, but in a controlled manner, will make your symptoms get progressively worse. It is imperative that you do what the physical therapist teaches you at minimum 4 days per week the rest of your life if you dont want to become confined to a wheelchair.
