I'm a Nadine also!!

Well, the problem with waiting is that the damage keeps happening and the pain doesn't stop. After 4 back surgeries I wouldn't hesitate to have a replacement. But that's me. Hugs

Yes I had my left hip replaced 12yrs ago and healed well. Now I am told I need to replace my right hip. To be honest doing my left hip was the best thing for me but after having 3 back surgeries in the 1980-90’ and then the hip in 2012 I am having anxiety having to choose to go under the knife again. Right now my hip pain has diminished slightly after having a cortisone injection last month but it still clicks and clunks. What is bothering me now is right leg sciatica which I think is from my back issues. I taking painkiller tramidol 50mg which isn’t really that helpful. I am also taking muscle relaxers and anti inflammatory Mobic 15mg
I can manage most of the day but have my most pain at night trying to sleep. I am hoping the leg pain goes away before replacing my right hip.
