Hi I was on it arava for 6 months. I stopped taking it during the summer because of hair loss and horrible stomach issues. When I told my rheum that I stopped he didn't pass any remarks. Just said it dosent agree with a lot of people

I have had no side effects from Methotrexate but haven't had much relief either

I've had similar issues with methotrexate and both are dmards. I swapped to leflunamide for a few and had no issues with it

Defo start injections. It might a few different types to find the right one but they are essential to halt the progression of AS.
