Lidocaine Patches And Psychosis
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

For a while I thought I found good pain relief with Lidocaine patches on my bacck or spine. It worked great. Problem is I thought I was getting spikes of mood changes, but turns out it was the Lidocaine patches and I had to detox from them. Its saddening, because I thought I finally found pain relief. Anyone else have the same issue? Any other effective OTC pain relief methods asides from cold and heat or prescriptions?

Topical 1:1 Canna cream can help if you can find a good one.

I understand. I was getting 10-20 lidocaine trigger point injections for almost a year and stopped a fewonths ago. Really miss the few hours of relief. Have you used a topical NSAID like volatren cream? I apply it on any extra achy spots and then use the roller and stretch. Also a TENS unit interrupts the pain cycle and it helps me. Hope you find something that gives you relief. It's a struggle for sure.
