Should I Be Concerned If Hearing My Spine Cracks When Breathing Deeply
My rhuemy knows of the spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, bony islands, RA but not AS. I'm in a flare right now...the pain was just in my back but it has wrapped around my rib cage. When I breathe in deeply my spine cracks, should I be concerned about that? I'm using heat and ice as well as small pieces of oxy and Advil.
This happens with me alot too! It doesn't hurt but I also know it's not supposed to make that noise. My boyfriend and I were kissing and one time he could hear my back.... it sounded like I was falling apart! Very concerning yes! And doctors are always telling something is nothing abd it turns out to be something. I hope you guys get help with it and then tell me please! đź©·
When I started PT, because my si on my right side was hypermobile, they taught me to strengthen the muscles around the joint in order to lessen the issue. I would think the same advice would apply to the entire spine. I also use an brace to stabilize the area when walking or working out. I hope to hear you're feeling better soon.
I dislike when a Dr says don't worry about it, like really?! We know our bodies better than anyone, so always make them listen. I'll be making an appt with my rheumy soon. Keep smiling and be well as .much as possible.
Idk. My spine has started doing this from my lower back up to higher mid back. It’s not painful but very disconcerting as it does this every time. I asked pain specialist but she basically said it’s nothing to worry about. Well it’s new to me and it’s my back so it does concern me in the “what’s next” kind of way. Ask your dr Naturelover2, maybe they’ll have an answer for us. Keep your light shining.
