What Complimentary Therapies Have You Tried? Have You Heard Of EFT/Tapping Technique?
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

My daughter has been exploring tapping and shared it with me. It’s helping her to relax and sleep as she’s been dealing with anxiety and insomnia as she’s been processing trauma with her therapist.

I did one quick session and must admit that I’m more relaxed. Here’s a video I found that briefly explains the technique -

If you want to explore more then look up Brad Yates on Youtube. He has videos for everything even for pain -

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member @A MySpondylitisTeam Member I’ve heard about tapping and lately it’s become more popular. I have a book/manual type book at home about it. I don’t even need it, I never read it. A friend got me the book because it was this new way to try things when she heard about it over 10 years ago. @A MySpondylitisTeam Member and @A MySpondylitisTeam Member if I find the book I will share title here for sure. @A MySpondylitisTeam Member I want to try acupuncture myself but finding a practioner hasn’t been easy. I’m on Medicare and they now cover it. It ranges for copay depending on where the office is. Example 15$ copay if your primary car office 25 for chiropractor office…Tapping has some of the core techniques in common on the way they work among the bodies energy/meridian lines. They say massages are good too. I seen a chiropractor, physical therapist and have done a tone of swimming. I’ve also tried recommended supplements from my rheumatologist

I’m actually a reverend and the RMT which is why I’m showing this to begin with is for reiki master teacher practitioner. It’s another alternative therapy that works with energy. This energy though is channeled through the practitioner. I do distant sessions and people love it even over video chat. You can look up your local practitioners also. I’d assume a good place to start would be alternative health clinics. Most doctors are unaware of reiki. However, acupuncturists have sent me many clients before too encouraging reiki in conjunction with their practices.
