@ Atccmt7 - sounds like it’s time for a new set of X-rays. Is your thoracic painful? Feel like you’re being pushed forward? I have AS and these are just a few of symptoms I was experiencing when I requested X-rays of the entire spine - cervical, thoracic, lumbar. I had to be firm about needing to find out what was going on. It was new kind of pain for me.

Hope you get answers and relief! Keep us posted.

I am seronegative which means does not show up in labwork. Unfortunately for me, I was not diagnosed until 57 and damage was already done. I was diagnosed by a contrast MRI of my SI joints. To my understanding if it shows up on X-rays or imaging you would be considered to have AS.

I too have nr-axspa and I’m not sure, but I think it may?
I look forward to more replies.

I have bone growth in my ribs and so have the same question.
I need to have a CT to evaluate the extent of things, but X-ray showed nothing of course, ultrasound shows bone, deep bone.

God bless you! Stay positive always!!

Same here negative as well. I had isotope injected into blood and then CT scan found it.
