https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=utyL2bm1I7E. These are super easy, fun refreshing movements that are so easy to do. They are refreshing because they get blood flowing in a gentle way that makes a person feel better. It is a very simple yoga that can be done laying down, sitting and all kinds of ways. The lady on her youtube channel say it helps with weight loss. I haven’t tried hem much so not sure about that but I guess if a person starts moving a lot as opposed to not moving due to immobility… read more

Linda,
As humorous as that sounds, it is the small daily rituals and routines that keep me from sinking into depression. There are myth, fable, and stories about the reasons I make my bed daily. I was a soldier for a few years, but bed making was a part of my routine prior to being a soldier.
Anyway, I wasnt trying to be funny. Walking past my bedroom and seeing that the bed has been made gives me a ✓ check mark in the Win column of my daily mental check list. There are days when my back shoulders, knees and hips are so uncomfortable that the simple act of getting out of bed is a big win. I know that this is a lengthy response, I just know what it is like to hurt so badly that all I want to do is stay in bed..and I like giving myself "Atta boys" reasons to keep it up.

I was referring to getting bored with exercise routine but kudos to you making your bed.

HAHA!! Boredom? I am thankful that boredom has not been an issue in my life for quite some time. If anything, I am overwhelmed with the amount of stuff I have to do. One day, and one task at a time...
I just had a discussion with a friend who suffers from a few issues. I told her that the very first thing I do in the morning is make my bed. She laughed, I followed by saying that even if I do not accomplish anything else during the day, I got out of bed, and made my bed! I have accomplished a small ritual. And I always feel better for it!

I know I need those “atta boys” ✔️. Today my goal was to check on a few people. I’m happy about it but now I have to get back in bed. I was stopping by the community before I head that way. Thank you for taking the time to your heart David. I needed to read your post. It’s pretty much how I’m feeling today. 🤗 We are not alone 🙏🏾
