Hi,
I have had them. I was getting them and hip injections every three months. I would stagger them so I was getting SI joints done then in six weeks my hips done and started the cycle again after six weeks. This worked well for me.
I am a Physio assistant and work in long term care . I hold an exercise class four days a week. This has helped me as I do all the exercises with residents.
I also made a valiant effort to lose weight, which I am happy to say I am ten pounds from my goal weight.
The daily exercises and weight loss have contributed to me feeling I don't need the injection any more and I have not had either for a year now.
I am still experiencing joint paint, but it's not like it was. I live with aching more than the pain I was having, but the aches can last days without relief.
I have an appointment with a second rheumatologist at the end of the month and am hoping she has more insight than the last one I saw.
Like with fibromyalgia and arthritis I have realized it's best to keep moving as much as possible because when you stop you seize up and it hurts more to get going again.
If you have access to a pool, even just walking in the waster helps. The hots tub just made things worse for me.
I hope this has helped Dawn.

Yes but they only lasted me about 1-2 hours before they wore off and the lain came back it seemed twice as bed as the numbness was wearing off.
Yes. They don’t last long though
