Brain fog is the worst thing ever!
It’s bad during a flare and it’s embarrassing also!

Scott8, I wouldn't waste your time on being embarrassed. Brain fog is a pain in the a$$ and I'm always struggling to find words to replace the ones that won't come to me normally. I just do the best I can and don't worry about what people think. I can't count the many times I've been left with a blank look on my face because I lost track of a conversation or couldn't come up with the words I really needed. Stressing about it just makes it worse.

People who are healthy don’t understand the pain we are in. I had friends say “oh, you can’t be in that much pain”. There are days/nights I set the heating pad on cremate. When I retired, they finally got it.

My history in the healthcare system is such that drs do not assume responsibility for diet, nutrition, exercise, etc. In this world of tech that allows us to research everything, we need to advocate for ourselves. Look up anything and everything. Look at us here; we talk about details and share everything we can. I’ve learned so much by reading comments. Plus this site offers resources themselves.

God bless us all and I thank you all for inspiring me, every day! ❤️🙏
