Does Anyone Else Sweat Profusely And Get Out Of Breath Easily?
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm not sure if this is from AS or something else. It has been happening more often the last couple of months and lasts about 10 minutes each time. This is worse than hot flashes from Menopause!! Not quite sure how to describe it but its my whole body

I get that too! I told my doc that when I’m flaring I often feel like I have a fever. I just feel hot all over and even my skin feels hot.

Yes in the last 6 months my whole body feels like it heats up and I’m then sweaty all over. The smell is also different, a lot stronger. Once it passes an hour or 2 later then I’m back to freezing again. I know massive pain makes you sweat cause your body can not handle it.

Omg I do. Since my 20's. I'm 43. I've been a dealing with this sweating profusely stuff since then. And heavy breathing. I have Asthma and costocondritas and many many other physical and mental health problems.
I thought it might be medicine side effects, then I thought I was in perimenopause. I had my hormone levels checked and I'm not in perimenopause. I see my Rheumatologist tomorrow. I'm going to mention the sweating thing to her and get her feedback.
Have a blessed day. 🫂

I’m 66 and have started having “hot flashes” again. Maybe it’s low blood sugar, maybe from medications. I want to remember to ask the doctor.
