Men! Stubborn creatures they be! Mine also is like that, last week he called from the hospital because his knee gave out when he was getting into his truck. He fell in the street on his face. You can’t help them if they won’t help themselves!

Some have said Autoimmune Protocol Diet help, I haven't tried it because I have gone through back and forth with diagnosis until just today. But, the issue is if it doesn't work and it progresses fast or is advance case of AS then the spine / SI joints can become very damaged or fused. Maybe he can ask his Dr what he thinks of trying AIP diet before starting meds and see if they can track the progress of the inflammation? I'm not sure. I am going to be asking my Dr that if he says I need to start on meds.
