For me, my issues started after I had an eye infection, 6 months later I got PRK, and a few months later it all hit me. Severe chronic uveitis and my lower back pain that was just somewhat achy turned in to awful pain and stiffness to the point I could barely move. I have issues with the IUD and found everything is worse and I flare way more than without it. Also, pregnancy with my 1st really affected me badly. My 2nd baby is when it started affecting my pelvis. I was diagnosed with AS in 2016 and then undiagnosed later that year with mechanical back pain... and now I am back at possible ankylosing spondylitis again. The back and forth is ridiculous.

I was bucked off a horse 30 years ago. Stupid guy friend whistled at the horse knowing he was skiddish, but then felt terrible because I had torn my sacroiliac and messed up my lower spine. Had to relearn how to walk the right way at physical therapy for a year. A week after therapy ended, I was with a different friend in Arizona, the Navajo Nation where there are no lights for the roadways, someone's horse had escaped property and ran into road causing a 10 car pile-up. Our was totaled, I had suffered whiplash, reinjured sacroiliac muscle, oh and our styrofoam cooler had jumped out of the back seat into my lap upside down. I was wet n cold to say the least. Upside was the police chief of the Navajo Nation invited both of us to stay at his place for the evening since we couldn't get a rental for another day and there are zero motels where we were. Very nice family! Anyway, back to physical therapy but this time was only for a few months, I think 6 months. Anklyosing spondylitis pain started about that same time, Dr sent me to chiropractor who made it worse. Took another 20 years before given correct diagnosis and meds. Still in pain daily, even on biologics and pain meds. Rheumatologist says it is from getting older and not the autoimmune, but she doesn't ever listen to me or try to explain anything. I chalk that relationship faux pas to culture gap, but I am searching for a better rheumatologist now.

My legs have hurt off and on most of my life! Always chalked it up to my jobs and weight. Started getting worse in early 2020. Lead me to many doctors with no answers. Thought it was vascular. After 2 us of legs Dr said something else is going on you need primary doctor to send for x-ray MRI or ct. My doctor at time blew me off said it was my weight. 6 months later was helping my husband from surgery on his foot. In and out of shower and helping him get dressed ect. One mourning couldn't get out of bed to walk to bathroom. The pain was unbearable. Went to Urgent Care during big covid surges. Doctor saw me for 5 minutes said It was a pulled muscle. 3 more months of barley able to walk with a walker. Finally found a new Dr who immediately did x-ray sent to pool therapy 9 weeks. Followed by back and spine specialists. 6 more months injections, epidurals, and MRI and Ablation in both side and a DX spondylosis,😐

Why don't you ask your doctor if he knows any physical therapist that do ""Dry Needling""? Or you can call around yourself to some physical therapist offices..You see for five years i was thinking it was my nerves giving me this excruciating pain...Nope it was my musckes...all of those injections in my back didn't do a bit of good..someone asked me did i know about dry needling ..im telling you it has helped me out tremendously..and i mean that..i can walk now..the only time i feel pain is qhen the weather changes..and it gives me a warning to go retrieve my muscle relaxers and heating pad...i go to the pool almost everyday and do my own exercises...twisting my body every can of way possible....Trust me find a therapist that do dry needling..Just tell them where your pain is at or they will find it..and they will insert this thin needle in that spot..its not all that painful either..and you got to keep going at least three times before you feel better..Trust me on this..
