I just listened to the Autoimmune Besties podcast where they talk about their rock bottom and what got them up from their rock bottom. So in that spirit (for anyone willing to share): What was gets you up when you are at your lowest?
I also found a therapist, I was pretty much feeling just done with everything and between this site and the therapist and medication I take for it I don't feel like that anymore.
I loke to listen to music too, Contemporary Christian and country are my favorites. I read a lot, go sit outside, walk amd walk my dog. I started yoga back… going slowly though… prayer is always good
@A MySpondylitisTeam Member, I put my headphones on and listen to Contemporary Christian Music - KLOVE 88.1 or klove.com, great music with a meaning, love to read my Bible, I also ride my tricycle or go to water therapy.
Having any of my 8 grandkids here at my house, brightens my week. 😀💝.
What about you Mimi, what do you do? Great question, by the way 🥰
Blessings to you,

I still have lots of lowes Me and my doctors are still trying to figure this all out.. I am having the worst headaches I have ever had in my life on a daily basis along with all the pain and numbness I have a PCP Rheumatologist Pain Doctor Neurosurgeon and a Neurologist.. They are all absolutely wonderful and I know they will figure all this out.. I try to stay positive and attempt every day to be positive.. I was not positive on Sunday due to the 10/10 headache I had but it eventually went away but came back that night I am still exhausted and feel strange and a little dizzy but I just keep going..
Thanks everyone for your answers. I appreciate your input. And it's inspiring to hear how you can get up and keep going. @A MySpondylitisTeam Member I love your quote: "All the ice cream in the world won't help me if I don't make a first step to change my situation." We all have to take that first step.
Pam thanks for asking what I do. I hit rock bottom this year. What got me up again was that I decided to take my health into my own hands: So I started journaling, became committed to daily yoga and found a great therapist...it felt like a treat to talk to her and I always felt better after. And maybe the best thing I did was I joined this site and found I am not alone in the world. So glad to have you all as allies!
