My rheumatologist and gastroctold me that a flare could affect my stomach as well. Everything is apparently all tied together for me. How long have you been doing an anti-inflammatory diet? I try and do the DASH diet (low sodium & high blood pressure) seems to help. I cut out most of my caffeine & sweets too.

I am going for a colonoscopy consultation tomorrow. Everytime I have a flare my stomach is tore up also. Wondering though if my flare is gone if the inflammation in my stomach will be gone during that time also?
