I took Humira for over 7 months. It worked great for 5-6 months then lost its effectiveness for me, so we switched. My daughter, who also has spondylitis has been on Humira for 2 years and it helps her tremendously. She actually has been able to return to competitive sports (she is a collegiate athlete). She has very little back pain now and much more energy.
