Does Anyone Have Trouble With Getting Lightheaded?
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have to do a lot of bending down and standing up at work (I stock shelves) and I always get super lightheaded and dizzy to the point where I have to hold onto something so I don’t fall. I also get really weak in the legs. It feels like I come close to passing out. I get lightheaded even if I reach up high above my head. I’ve almost went home a couple times because it gets so bad. I need advice!

Yes ! True Tammy ears play a huge role , also have you checked your blood pressure there is something called orthostatic ! It is usually with standing and sitting but changing positions might be playing a part here ? Worth bringing it up to your doctor 😊good luck

I have syncope all the time when I go from lying to standing or sitting to standing. It’s not fun at all. My blood pressure is low quite often so that’s why it happens they say. How’s your B/P?

Do make sure you are staying WELL hydrated and talk to your doctor if no improvement. A fall because of passing out will not be a great day!

It could also be your ears effecting your head tilt. They could be blocked with wax deep in the ear canal pushing on your ear drum. Or you could have fluid in there also. Doctors do not have a scope to really see in there due to the S curve in the canal. They do stick that one thing in your ear but they don't really work for deep into the canal. Its a dx that doctors and patients don't think about. But it does contribute to a bunch of different ailments. And we just don’t think about our ears….
