I keep a diary, it’s my life, my past, I try to be honest and accurate with it, write lists down for things I need to do, ideas that come to mind, after a while become methodical doing it, can’t store all this stuff in my mind with pain, I’ll just forget the lot, meds like tramadol almost erase my memory, gabapentin, for example just wipes memory out, if I don’t keep writing things down I get stressed out trying to organise myself and that leads to more stress and that’s more tension, more pain, more negativity, write it down my friend, keep a note book and pen in pocket, excellent for adding things before going shopping etc...

Adam. I suffer with this as well. I went off all my nerve medicine. Ativan. TRAZADONE. And it's been 2 years. Went down on my pain pump 20%. But this didn't help either. I think I am better than I was but I can help what happened yesterday. I have 3 different calendars to write stuff down to remember. But then I forget to fill in my information on them. I ask to always get reminders for Drs.appointments 2 weeks before and then ask them to call a week before. But I think it just goes along with the diseases we have. I use to have a memory like an elephant. But not so much anymore.❤🙏🙏
