Do We Need A Sponsorship Program?
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am an overly emotional person, just the way I’m built. I often wonder that I’m not doing enough to support everyone Is there a need for a sponsorship program? It’s just a thought. To help building a ramp, giving a physical hug or what is needed to someone I need. Does this support already exist and I don’t know of it. Most of the time here we just need to vent or get suggestions to our problems. I see some that I think need more contact and it bothers me, as I should be doing more. Any… read more

How Can I Get A Doctor To Listen To Me?
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Yesterday I had an ESR 8 test that was high off the chart high, and if you read my ct and MRI scans they all say degenerative disc, spondylosis, are present. I have had so many bone spurs down my spine I'm having problems with my neck again but I really don't want a 3rd surgery on my neck. No one seems to want to help me because they all say there is nothing they can do....now I'm having this problem with my eye and my eye doc has given me meds but says this will continue unless I get my… read more

Anybody Get Weakness In Legs And/or Arms? 😊
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I seem to deal with this a lot. It can, at times, make exercise a little challenging. Also, pins and needles that come and go in different areas.
I don’t really see much literature on this. Or sites that list it as a symptom of AS.
Thanks 😊

I have been prescribed codeine tablets but find these make me so badly constipated and don’t always help with the pain.
I find the most effective pain relief to be Tramadol but my Doctor will not issue them.
Am I better off just leaving my practice and going to a different doctor ?
