I Have As,fibromyalgia, degenerate Disc Disease, Spinal Stenosis , Bulging Disc Andchronic Pain.

my question is i have alot of hip pain. i mean pain that it feels like it is cramping to the bone and at times it makes it to where i cannot walk. has anyone ever experienced that. nobody to this date can tell me what is causing it and they think i am off my rocker and i know i am not crazy cause my mother had me tested.

I too have Fibromyalgia also and the lower back pain and hip pain making walking difficult. I use a cane for balance. Sometimes it’s hard to distinguish the AS from the Fibro. I use CBD tincture and topical balm along with NSAIDS. Trying hard not to use prescription drugs due to the side effects. The pain we feel is real but some can’t understand because it isn’t visible.

Having that pain now. Nothing helps. Opiods, muscle relaxers do nothing for the pain but just make me feel drugged.

Sorry it's been 12 days since you posted that question but I just read it and because of the fibromyalgia that actually sends pain signals that aren't correct so it feels like cramping but if the same signal was happening in my body it probably like burning and it definitely sounds like your nerves from your degenerative disc disease are reaching around to your hip and aggravating your I want to call it the maybe bursa. And as weird as this sounds my chiropractor explain to me if I took a rolling pin and rolled it back and forth over the area it breaks up kind of like the knots or the calcium deposits or whatever it is going on there and it takes the center of it and spreads it out I hope that makes sense give it a whirl to try but I hope it helps. It helps me on occasion.
