I get frequent scans as surveillance for adrenal cancer. They comment on the AS but no doctors have ever addressed the AS. The last scan also mentioned bone islands. Anyone else have bone islands in their hips? Should I look for more specific help? I also have Hashimoto thyroiditis and an auto immune disorder which makes my hair fall out and not come back. They should be addressing your AS, as these tests are or can beside affects from you TNF blocker. Most of them can cause lymphoma. I am on humira which helps with 2 things. Your AS and if you have Chrons ,ulcerative colitis, or any other major stomach diseases.πŸŒΊπŸ€™πŸΌπŸ’ž

Thank you both for your responses. I see derm doc about the scalp condition on Wed. Perhaps she would refer me. She seems pretty sharp. Only went for a skin check and she found this right off...I thought my hair was a mess because of chemo seven years ago, but no, she gave me something for it and already my hair is returning. Can't say how many times I spoke with various other "professionals" and all I got was ...hereditary, age, and chemo. Years wasted.
