Does Anyone Get Ablations For Low Lumbar Pain, Hip Stiffness/pain, And/tailbone Pain?

4 years ago I received ablations on my lower bacj from a pain Specialist. They werent perfect, but they numbed the bulk of pain. After a couple, I stopped getting them due to scheduling conflicts and I convinced myself they didn't work.
Has anyone had them, and with success?

I have had 4 ablasions but they never helped. There is a new injection out that they gave me in October 2019. They helped for 5 months. But I forgot the name but I am scheduled to have a another set of INJECTIONS, I will get the name. My memory is mush. I can't remember stuff. So I APPOLOGIZE. But you can have these injections every 6 months. I hope you find something that helps soon.❤🙏🙏🙏

That's one big problem, Insurance companies don't want to pay for it. They denied my ablation but okayed a pain pump. Glad I have the best pain management Dr.!

I’ve had 3 that worked. Last one by a pain management doctor. I want one now but doing the insurance change this year , thereby making strides to prove pain is as bad as to need the ablation all over

a lumbar radiofrequency ablation is a procedure that uses radio waves to stop the lumbar medial branch nerve from transmitting pain signals from the injured facet joint to the brain.
