I just Google this, said with Titanium hardware used in past 10 yrs,it's highly unlikely that alarms will detect it.But could happen if it's really close to the skin layers

I wear a brace and I set off alarms with it but need it. So I just wear it. I have spinal compression and several other things wrong with spine.

I've had mine in neck since 1993. Replaced knee for 8 years. It sets off when i go thru security at the ballpark. I just always tell them before i go thru.
