What about from behind? Does it hurt your hips to be on your knees with a pillow under you for support? That's our go- to position when I have really bad lower back pain

Lie on your side with a bed pillow (Walmart $8) between your legs. It comfortably separates your legs so he can enter from behind (gently). The pain is much less for you. Hope it helps.

Why don't you just try different positions and see what is best for you, its going to be different for everyone so what works for someone else. May not be right for you anyway. Have fun trying out the different ways, the worst that can happen is you end up laughing, no swinging from the lightshades or jumping off the wardrobe though, not with your bad back lol so many people on here have simply given up on sex and even closeness, it's good to hear your still loving and close with your husband x
