I have been using TeeterHangup about 12 years now and I'm pretty sure it's the only thing that has saved me from being crippled. The inversion therapy is like a blessing. I don't mind hanging upside down for a few minutes a day or a week. It's less expensive than going to get stretched on a table. Does inversion help anyone else.?
I did the therapies on the table and it although it felt good to some degree it was more painful then the Teeter Hang Up. I actually feel no pain with the Teeter Hang Up I gradually let myself down in the beginning I never did the full just hanging upside down at first. I lowered myself at a slant for the first few times. I work my way up to full inversion. It did not take that long for me. I compare hanging upside down to a level device because as you were hanging upside down your body straightens like a string that has a rock at the bottom tied to it it has to be straight when it's hanging. I don't know if you understood that analogy but it works for me hahaha
You need to decompress
If discs are degenerating
I lay down every 4-5 hours at least 15 minutes
I love mine and agree, I couldn't live without it.
I sometimes go in the car and lay flat for 20 minutes. I work drive a lot in between appointments. I can do 5 hours straight sitting talking and then I just need to decompress - lay flat.
