Many times with these injections they put you out, if you have them done at a hospital or surgi center. The last epidural I had a month ago they put me out. That was nice. The epidural was not painful at all. I have had them done without anything and it's hard to explain the feelings. I felt the punch of the needle but at a certain point I also felt a relaxing of the muscles. I have never had one like this last one. It helped so much and has lasted so long. Be sure the Dr uses a floroscope when he's doing it.

I didn't find the injections painful at all. However the last set I got something definitely went wrong. I ended up having my pain substantially increased for months after. In fact I'm not sure that I have gotten back to baseline. Just be sure that the person doing it is very qualified, does them frequently and maybe even look up their record to be sure there are no complaints.

Yikes! I'm very sceptical to have those done. They are known to weaken the bones faster.

Me too. Just had epidural last Tues. It helped for about 50% of the pain but I still have pain. I don't think anything will take it all away.
