Anyone Tried Xeljanz XR?
I fought tooth and nail to get this medication because I refused to go down the road of injectables again. I was on Humira and Enbrel. I developed a nasty rash from Humira and Enbrel did absolutely nothing for me. I’ve been on the Xeljanz XR for about 2 weeks now and have noticed some improvements. Anyone else have success with this medication?
@A MySpondylitisTeam Member I too have had years of Humira, Embrel, etc. I was able to start Xeljanz XR about six months ago. It is working for me. You do want to make sure your stomach is full before you take it. The bitter cold is a hard challenge for any treatment. I still have pain which I treat with Oxycodone.
I noticed the first few days I felt that way and had a headache. I started eating a snack or meal before taking it and I’ve been good since I did so.
@A MySpondylitisTeam Member I think Zeljanz XR leaves me with a sick feeling in my stomach. I wonder if you are finding that it does that to you as well?
Keep moving forward. As you can do something for yourself. Good meal and movie maybe.
I have been on it for a month and have had really bad headaches and a rash that looks like a cold sore and heavy congestion. Some days the pain is ok and other days it is like i cannot be mobile. I am trying it for 3 months since it is the 5th drug i have been on with no success.
Question... Who Has Tried Xeljanz And What Results Have You Experienced?
