The suffixes are different; "itis" means inflammation and "osis" means condition.
Susan, I think you will be ok, your lotis may go to litis and it still in the back region.. I have cervical spondylitis. This team has been very helpful. Take care.

I went the site Katie recommended and viewed several of the videos. I saw my surgeon just a few days later, and he said he thinks I would benefit from one of the surgical procedures demonstrated in the videos, the anterior disc replacement. I am a little concerned because it seems extremely complicated, and I am concerned that because this my condition is degenerative, I will be right back where I started again in a few years.
