Are Spondylitis And Spondylosis The Same Thing?
The suffixes are different; "itis" means inflammation and "osis" means condition.
Susan, I think you will be ok, your lotis may go to litis and it still in the back region.. I have cervical spondylitis. This team has been very helpful. Take care.
Thank you Katy. I have Spondylosis, which brings me to my next question; am I on the correct website. Is this website just for those who have Spondylitis?
Just make sure your surgeon knows what he is doing.. hugs
@A MySpondylitisTeam Member, I would think that you are ok with us. I don't think that to many others have looked at that link yet. But they all start with the same illness. sad. Hugs
I went the site Katie recommended and viewed several of the videos. I saw my surgeon just a few days later, and he said he thinks I would benefit from one of the surgical procedures demonstrated in the videos, the anterior disc replacement. I am a little concerned because it seems extremely complicated, and I am concerned that because this my condition is degenerative, I will be right back where I started again in a few years.
