Dr. Liz Aguiniga received a doctorate in neuroscience from Northwestern University, where she studied the role of corticotropin-releasing factor — a stress hormone — in modifying bladder function and depressive-like behaviors in rodents. Dr. Aguiniga also studied the host-pathogen response in a mouse model of urinary tract infection.
