NONSTEROIDAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY DRUG (NSAID)
Nalfon is a prescription medication approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and mild to moderate pain. Nalfon is also referred to by its drug name, Fenoprofen.
Nalfon is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). NSAIDs help reduce fever, pain, and inflammation. Nalfon is believed to work by inhibiting the production of chemicals that promote inflammation and blood clot formation in the body.
How do I take it?
Nalfon is taken three or four times a day.

The FDA-approved label for Nalfon lists common side effects including headache, drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, sweating, blurred vision, ringing in the ears, nausea, vomiting, gas constipation, upset stomach, bloating, and skin rash or itching.
Rare but serious side effects listed for Nalfon include stroke, heart attack, and gastrointestinal bleeding.
