How do doctors give diagnosis when so my things have the same symptoms ???? How can they tell what is what. Not all can be found with blood test.š¤
This is one of the reasons it takes so long to get a proper diagnosis and sometimes you end up diagnosed and then rediagnosed. So many of the symptoms overlap, it's really about watching how theā¦ read more
Sublocade is working! Mind you, I am takinf Culecoxib and Hydromorphone as well!
My neuro is absolutely against spinal cord stimulators and ablation, I didnāt ask why he was against ablation. But he said they seldom get the spinal cord stimulators in the right place. If the placement is good it might work. He said the technology has not advanced where they can position the probe into proper position because if a person lays on a table they canāt tell where the weight bearing pressure is to place it effectively and if they stand the person up there is 100 pounds of whateverā¦ read more
I know very many the same.

Just wondering who else has neck pain and how common it is? I already had a double fusion for Cervical Myelopathy in 2020. My neck seems to bother me more than my back. Everyday it is on fire and feels very warm. I was told I also have AS at the Occipito-Atlanto-Axial Region.
Just wondering how common of a symptom this is? Thanks.
Hi Amy, I sure do try! Hope you're having a better day!! Enjoy...!!!

I started having some numbness and tingling in my right shoulder, down the arm and into the hand. This is 2nd time in a week it has happened. I can still move it, still feel like normal, no pain, no other symptoms (other than panic/anxiety thinking it might be a stroke) I mentioned it to my rheumatologist when i saw her last week and she said its probably a nerve as the other time happened when i was driving for a couple of hours..
Has something like this happened to anyone else?
Yes , my neck surgery helped a lot . I donāt get the numbness as bad when I drive long distance .
It sounds like fidgeting but itās different. Itās from pain and not being able to stand or sit for any period of time. Stretching out my back, shoulders, ankles, hips. Itās most annoying when Iām trying to sit and have a conversation with family or friends. The itching and scratching from the Psoriasis must be a bonus for my audience š
Does anyone have a regular need to stretch and move (up down up down) throughout their day ?
Hi KatJSassaman. God gave us reason. Pain is the body's warning that it is sick. The body is asking for help. It manifests itself in pain! We ignore the body. He gets NSAId instead of help. But that'sā¦ read more
Eyesā¦ does anyone find issues with their eyes/ sight when they have a flare up? My vision goes from 20/20 to very bad hour by hour. They just started me on a steroid eye drop and another eye drop to see if that assists. Itās rather unnerving to having your vision go and come back or to suddenly only see outlines.
Is your vision problems related to lower or upper back pain? I can't imagine any nerves in the lumbar region affecting vision but I can (just guessing) that cervical nerves could.
