Me too Jeff! I have all cervical discs in varying stages of collapse and degeneration putting 5 nerves in stenosis. Try an orthopedic neck pillow, or a very flat one without resting your shoulder on the pillow, neck support only. Thats helpful. I had stem cell treatments put in my neck 3 months ago. We'll see in another 3 months if it helped.πŸ˜ŒπŸ™

Good morning!
My neurologist put me on cymbalta (Duloxitine) for the head/eye pain I get. It really helps me to be able to function

It sounds like a cluster migraine headache. I get them too. Wakes me up, pain lt one sided only, behind eye, top of head. Burning scalp. I don't like heavy medication, my Neurologist put me on Magnesium 200 to 400 mg daily, .It finally worked Decreased number of Migraines monthly. Also make sure you get your Cervical spine checked. Some times the cause of pain is a disc problem. If I get breakthrough pain, I get a hot shower , helps muscles relax and if all else fails. I take one Benadryl. Hope this is helpful. Check with your doctor before doing any of the above, just sharing what helped me.
