I was diagnosed with AS approximately 2 years ago. Have been on Humira injections twice a month , 40 Mg. The first year year it worked great but now just doesn’t help as much. Does anyone else experience reduced benefits?

Yes. Your body can develop antibodies to the medication which makes it less effective. At that point, most people have to change biologics.

I was taking humira for psoriasis and arthritis and after 3 weeks it back fired and made my psoriasis worse, so much worse it started on my face which I've never had before. Now she wants me to try Skyrizi...praying it doesn't back fire on me too!!

I've never been on biologic meds. My late husband had ankylosing spondylitis and he had bouts of serious pain in his big toes. They finally discovered that he had grout. Bless his heart, the medications for it were too hard on his stomach. Good luck and God bless you 🙏.
