My stenosis , instrument fusion was done without opening me up to visually see L, 3,2 and the pressure it applied to those nerve roots . Immediately upon waking from surgery I felt it and no one still will address it since Dec. 2020 and. It's visual worsening in 3/2024.

I had a neck fusion in 2011. Now I am worsening. Went to see a surgeon and was told the rods I now have must be lengthened to include the whole neck and into the back. He said to put off surgery til I absolutely need it because I would be worse off. Then he said "with any luck, your as will fuse this by itself". I don't know what to think at all about it. The headaches and neck pain is worse. Not sure what to tell you. I don't know what to think or do, myself. Hope you find answers.
