I have that everyday. For me that is part of symptoms. Takes time to get body moving. My physical therapist gave me an exercise as in small movements for feet ankles knees. I also have heat pad on sore stiff areas to warm bidy prior to just getting up to walk. Some medications can leave me somewhat foggy weighs down am fatigue. By the time I do routine get coffee warm breakfast I pace myself to prepare for my day. It’s a day to day thing for me. One day at a time. Weather changes affect my body also.

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. Do you have lupus too? Low grade fever is common with lupus. Crushing fatigue is common with all the autoimmune diseases. Its because your body is working overtime just as though it were fighting flu, covid, or worse. Except there's no virus or bacteria. Instead, your body is attacking itself. Out of control cytokines is like trying to reign in a bunch of kindergardeners. Exhausting. Adding a lot more protein and fresh produce to my daily diet helped me tremendously with energy. High protein and fresh produce smoothies are a must for me for lunch if I'm to make it til the end of the day. Protein powder added to morning coffee helps a lot too. And the house/yard is just never going to be all together at one time again. Just let that nonsense go. Be happy if you manage one room or one section of yard. And if anyone says anything about habitat disarray, point them in the direction of the chore supply cabinet and to get to work.😜

About 2am or later I get up to cool off. It’s like my body is having. Fever from the inflammation we all suffer. It’s not all the time. Sometimes during the day I will get a low grade fever for a couple hours.
