I’m not. Was diagnosed via MRI and raised CRP levels

My mri was maybe read by someone a little incompetent so the doc didn't take it into cosideration and the blood test was negative for hla-b27 and he still diagnosed me. I'm saying there's more than just the gene to take into account for the diagnosis and a good doc not gonna rely just on them.

I'm not and the doc didn't take into consideration the maybe false negaltive mri. You have to check where to make these because not everybody can read them correctly. I have inflammation in the blood test for 2 years and the rhumatologist was the first one to say that it's not normal to have result for two years like yoyo higher than the normal. He gave the diagnostic considering all my symptom and the response of the nsaid and the reaction when i stop them. I just start biologic. I'm gonna have the third dose tomorrow but 3 days after the second one i was able to stop the nsais and i have more energy. Hope it's gonna get better and better. You need to find good doctor that not gonna rely only on mri and blood test. Good luck and keep fighting!

Yes exactly that’s my point too. There’s definitely a lot more than just the gene and elevated bloodwork levels to take into account. Obviously, though they are still good to look at. ☺️

Mine was not a false negative MRI or x-ray though. Sorry if that’s not what you were saying, I’m just a little confused.
