I just read on a website that pinched nerves from spine disease can cause symptoms of IBD and cause constipation or diarrhea. I just thought I had mild IBD and it really didn’t bother me much. I could control with diet choices. But I’ve been fasting and don’t hardly have anything in my gut right now. I felt fine all day until I drank a glass of water. An hour later I felt nauseous and had diarrhea. I’ve had this 3 times in the last week before dieting. I almost had a blockage and was badly… read more
This website is acting weird. This question disappeared today. website said it didn’t exist when I got notices on it and clicked it, Also a team member disappeared like I was blocked, then reappears and then disappeared again. Crazy!
I only have one small mild single diverticula. So I don’t think that should be causing all this. I just read nerve damage can also cause it. I feel my spine doctors paying attention to my medical history. Spinal nerve damage can alternate between constipations and diarrhea accompanied by nausea. Nerve damage can mimic IBS and irritate the intestine and the bladder, I also have sporadic bladder pain but there is no infection. This all escalated after having severe escalation of spinal stenosis pinching nerves,
Thanks Paula. I have 1 diverticula and it recently got infected. I have just now started having precancerous polyps. Before that they were the safe benign ones. I got them after keto. Keto messed me up real bad and had to have gall bladder out. Now I really have issues even more. I had blood in my stool and discover it was my probiotic causing it. I stopped the probiotic and it stopped immediately like by the next morning. If you have blood are you sure you don’t have crohn’s ? I used to eat way more raw vegetables than I do now and I was a lot better off. I’d eat giant bowls of pico de gallo or tabouli without the cracked wheat. I had done dirty keto by eating sausage and bacon, I wonder if hat is what caused mine because I never had eaten food with nitrates in them before. Be interesting to see what my next colonoscopy shows. I hope your test comes out ok. I think processed junk food is bad for it too. When I was mostly vegetarian seemed I was better but my blood sugar was a lot higher because I ate too many carbs. I’m fasting now to get inflammation and diabetes blood sugar spikes down,
Yes mam I do. I have ibd also. Have an appointment with my gastroenterologist Wednesday have been having blood in my stool it has only been maybe a year since my last colonoscopy and I always have precancerous polyps they have to remove. I lost my sister two or three years ago from colorectal cancer she was 59. I also have diverticulitis.
@A MySpondylitisTeam Member, he could have done it accidentally. I've noticed that that pops up a lot and I have to be careful I don't block anyone. He might not even realize he did it. This system has weird glitches.
