I believe in living in a state of gratitude. Gratitude creates happiness, for you, and for others, no? But I have to admit, I’m at my ropes and with my rheumatologist. I’m living in an area where I have choices—Choices that my mom, who lived in a rural area with rheumatoid arthritis, never had. I am grateful for that. Still, if we all were to give feedback to the rheumatologist of the world, what would we ask for most from them?
I think I would ask if they treat all patients with the same order and protocol or if they individualize treatment based on the feedback and concerns of each patient.
Hi Wanda, I couldn’t agree with you more. … listen, trust what patients say, and, yes, in my case I think we may have gotten to a diagnosis sooner. Enjoy your day!
That's a tough one. After being on this website for a while, it doesn't seem that any two people's symptoms are the same. We all have pain and fatigue. I guess, for me, I would have to talk about the time period spent to get a diagnosis, trust the patient's word and do testing earlier. Everyone of us is unique, we have different symptoms. I feel the doctors need to start thinking "outside" the box. Wishes for a good day. Wanda
