Any Men With AS Get Testicle Pain?
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

As in little league baseball. The nerve associated with being hit with force sends pain signal soaring to brain even though never being hit.
the neighbors knocking on the door - as you scream going downstairs. Happens to me every so often. Freezing Cold packs help.. Understanding AS, the entire pelvic area gets compromised..

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. Yikes!! Well, hell Gregory I'm sorry. Maybe I can describe what I feel with Psoriatic Spondylitis, Osteoarthritis, and Osteoporosis and it might ring a bell to help you tell whats going on with you. Maybe not, we're all different but here goes...

Osteoporosis - I don't think we actually "feel" that directly unless we actually get a fracture or break. I went from osteopenia at 48, Osteoporosis at 53, and back to Osteopenia last year at 57. No meds. Just diet and walking more and back into gym doing strength training physical therapy. So you can treat that yourself if you're focused and committed to it. Your posts and your picture look like you are a focused person, if you'll forgive the impression. I think you can kick that diagnosis to the curb pretty easily.

Osteoarthritis - pretty much every human being who makes it past 40 develops that one to some degree or another. I call it the "Paying for the Playing" or also "Overuse Abuse" arthritis. I played pretty hard for about 50 years so I have a bunch of that everywhere. It feels sharp when I'm using one of the gazillion joints that took too much banging and rolling and/or repetitive action. Very sharp, like a grinding, pinching, makes me limp while I'm trying to get in an extra quarter mile hiking. Woo hoo! I'm up to 3 using hiking poles! Move over Road Runner, I'm killin it!😁(sarcasm sign) Yeah, that OA s#!t hurts! OA doesn't make me tired. It just hurts. I try to just suck that up and most of the time i can, albeit with a limp or slow go.

Psoriatic Arthritis pain for me is like Bigfoot is squeezing the life out, bear hugging, me on top of all the OA parts. Its crushing like a tin can, can't get out of fetal position, feels like hard labor with a very large headed baby, can't stand up, hurts to breathe, can barely talk. That bad. Trouble even getting to the drs office let alone sit or stand there talking about it. Positively crushing fatigue where every step I feel like I'm pushing/dragging myself forward and thinking about nothing but getting in bed under a heated blanket. Only prednisone helps after a few days.

Keep your testicles. Before you let them take those consider Andrographolide, far less traumatic although it might reduce sperm count. Another alternative is Fucoxanthin. No side affects to that one yet known. Externally try Emuaid Max, all natural and helps all kinds of stubborn skin conditions including that nasty pic you posted😬😫Look those up on National Institute of Health.gov. Or check on my homepage under the "updates" tab for a brief synopsis.πŸ˜ŒπŸ™

You can do this. It sucks, but you can get ahold of it. Its all about commitment to diet and lifestyle. Your body is just telling you its time for a change.I hate change more than most, but I wanted my life back and did an about face to get it. πŸ’ͺ

Thanks Pitac. My rheumatologists say I have psoriatic arthritis, osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. When I saw them 5 months ago they blamed my pain and fatigue on osteoarthritis, but couldn't tell me how they made that determination. One doctor wanted to remove my testicle to solve the pain issue-- yikes! I just try to make the best of it

There's a guy on my team at Mypsoriasisteam.com who has internal psoriasis of the urethra. His moniker is "Dewi" and he's from Perth, Australia. He's been dealing with it a very long time. He might have valuable insight/info for you. An easy way to find him is to go to that sister forum mentioned above, look me up on my same moniker, pitac, then find him under the "my team" dropdown. I also have a new member who is a Dr of cellular microbiology or something or another like that, hoping to get insight from him too. I can't recall his moniker off-hand though, he just joined. Theres a couple others, including myself, investigating alternative treatments, diets, supplements etc. Keep on digging Gregory! You're moving in the right direction. 😊
