I completely understand! I felt the same way before I started!! I’m so thankful I did though, I have been in so much pain for years. I was just diagnosed last year but have had AS I believe since my early 20’s. I can actually get out of bed in less time now, and actually accomplish something!! Praying it will work just as well for you.

Thank you! I am newly diagnosed but have had it for several decades.. A little concerned about simponi aria. A lot of bad things on the internet . Glad it works for you. I'm not so worried now.

I’m currently taking infusions of simponi aria. It does take a bit to build up in your system, though I have heard some get good relief fairly quickly. My first infusion I only got two days relief, second, two weeks, by the third I got almost the full 8 weeks. I have not had any noticeable immediate reactions to the infusions, they take about 30 minutes to an hour. I have gotten a stomach virus almost every infusion after about 4 weeks but I do work in a busy pediatric clinic, so I’m exposed. I also have an 8 year old!! Otherwise they seem to be working great for me, I am feeling much, much better than before I started!!! I was having neck, thoracic, hip, knee, foot, elbow, wrist and finger pain daily and it’s gone.

Only had Humira and enbrel for 3 years each. Neither stopped or slowed my AS.in fact I believe my symptoms progressed faster after starting these.
