Stomach Issues With Simponi Aria?

This may be a tmi but….
For those that are simponi Aria have you had any stomach pain or cramps? Any major changes in bowel habits?i always freak out and think the worse when you can see visible Changes. Just curious what u think.

Hi Chrissy, side effects are always an issue. I've not tried the simponi but have been on5 different biologic's over the last 10 years. The best thing you can do is just monitor the side effects and if you feel the benifit doesn't outweigh the side effect you can decide with your Dr if you need to try something else. It's a constant struggle, and I really try to stay on top of my bloodwork and inflammation markers, that way I feel like I'm part of the decision making with my Dr. Hope you find the right medication that works for you. I just noticed yesterday, I either have a stomach bug…or it’s side effects of the infusion exactly 5 weeks after every infusion. Vomiting and diarrhea. I went back and looked at the timing. Wasn’t sure if it was due to me being exposed because of my immune system being lowered, just found it odd the timing is always the same.
