We all understand your frustration. According to the literature, about 1/3 or our risk of getting this comes from genetics and the other 2/3 from diet, lifestyle and environment. There are environmental triggers like infections, exposure to toxins and pollutants. And if we have a gut that is out of balance or "leaky" due to antibiotics or poor diet, it can make us more susceptible too.

That said, we can't blame ourselves. We didn't do this too ourselves and we didn't know what factors would set this off. But, knowing how these things effect our bodies can help us take back some control over our symptoms and our lives.
