Taltz
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone have experience with Taltz? My doctor suggested that I try it to help with stiffness. Have been on Enbrel for about 2 years, it is great for pain, but does little for stiffness. Thank you

I tried Taltz after Humira and before Enbrel. Enbrel is the only one that has helped me, but everyone is different. I still have moderate stiffness. It seems as if Enbrel is helping your pain, there may be a separate medication you could take for the stiffness. I'm not sure what it would be though. If you find out let us all know! :)

I am currently on Taltz after being on Humira and Enbrel. I am having better results with the Taltz. It is not a “wonder” biologic, however, I believe it is helping to reduce some pain. A word of caution, the injection (I use the pens) has a tremendous stinging sensation when injected. I inject in my thighs opposed to abdomen but the shot itself is very uncomfortable. I hope this helps and wish I had seen your post sooner! Happy New Year!

That is fine, I appreciate you taking time to answer. My experience with Enbrel has been great, the pain relief is amazing, it doesn't address the stiffness, honestly I could live with these results the rest of my life..

Unfortunately, I do not. Curious about your experience with Enbrel. I was on Humira for 4 years, then my Rheum changed me to Cosentyx because she thought I needed a change. That was awful. After 8 months, and constant flairs, I was put back on Humira and it was such a needed change. I feel worlds better. Sorry I didn't help answer your question though.

I have tried Simponi and Cosentyx. Humira is seeming to make me feel better but it's only been a week and a half.
